This workshop begins by giving delegates essential knowledge of Equality and Diversity legislation and internal policies and procedures. It will go on to outline the benefits of diverse teams, and crucially give participants the conversational and perception skills to address and discuss issues around diversity in the workplace.

  • The importance of diversity and the benefits of a diverse workforce
  • Overview of the Equality Act 2010 and updates to your E&D policy
  • Human Rights and Protected Characteristics
  • Where do people go wrong
  • Unconscious Bias
  • Sharing of opinions in the workplace
  • Ending a conversation respectfully
  • Dealing with disagreements and differences
